Work With Me

What makes me different

I practice functional nutrition to uncover and address the root cause of system dysfunction and allow your body to heal and restore your health, and integrated styles of Acupuncture to maximise my treatment results. I have been in practice over 18 years and have a successful track record of working with chronic health and pain conditions, women’s health conditions, infertility, and natural conception.

My work is primarily supporting people to learn about their health and the causes of their symptoms and imbalances. This might be taking a deep dive into how your DNA interacts with your Diet and Lifestyle choices, identify deficiencies and excesses in your body in order to restore your health, or want support with conception and pregnancy. This is done with Nutrition Therapy, Acupuncture, and when required blending them together to get the best results. Treatment involves identifying the specifics of what is going on for you, and then using diet, lifestyle change, health coaching and when necessary supportive supplements.

Together we tackle what is holding you back – whether it is uncertainty of what to do next, time constraints, or overwhelming choices. My personalised approach not only addresses your concerns but empowers you with the knowledge to take control of your body and health. Delivering results mean my advice fit seamlessly into your busy life. I’m here to guide you every step of the way and together, we unlock the understanding you want, helping you address your symptoms, deal with the root cause of illness and become a healthier, happier you.

Functional Testing

Advanced, targeted testing to help identify what’s really going on in your body — from nutrient status and hormonal health to genetics and the gut microbiome. I select and coordinate testing based on your individual symptoms, history, and goals.

from £225

Comprehensive Blood Analysis

A thorough functional blood panel ordered through a specialist UK lab. Testing is carried out via venous blood draw and goes significantly further than a standard GP panel — covering a broad range of markers to build a detailed picture of what is happening in your body right now.

Blood testing tells us what is happening — identifying levels, imbalances, and how your body is currently functioning. Results are interpreted using optimal reference ranges, not just the broad clinical thresholds used in conventional medicine, so suboptimal trends are caught early.

What’s covered:

  • Full Blood Count — immune function, red blood cell health, and overall blood picture
  • Liver Function — detoxification capacity, metabolic stress, and inflammation markers
  • Kidney Function — filtration efficiency, hydration status, and electrolyte balance
  • Full Thyroid Panel — TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Reverse T3, and thyroid autoimmune antibodies — a far more complete picture than a standard NHS thyroid test
  • Hormone Panel — oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, FSH, LH, SHBG, DHEA-s, prolactin, and cortisol
  • Nutrient Status — vitamin D, B12 (cobalamin), folate (B9), zinc, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, ferritin, iron, and transferrin saturation
  • Cardiovascular & Metabolic Markers — full lipid panel, fasting glucose, HbA1c, insulin, hs-CRP, and specialist cardiovascular markers including ApoA1, ApoB, and Lp(a)

from £225

Essential Nutrigenomics

A foundational DNA report analysing key genetic variants (SNPs) that influence how your body absorbs, metabolises, and uses nutrients. Selected to suit your individual health goals and priorities, this report is interpreted alongside your blood results to build a joined-up picture of your health.

Nutrigenomics tells us why things may be happening — uncovering whether a genetic predisposition is contributing to the patterns seen in your blood. Together, the two tests reveal both the current state of your health and the underlying traits that may be shaping it, both of which can be supported through diet, lifestyle, and targeted nutrition.

Key nutrients and pathways covered:

  • Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) — genetic variants affecting absorption, transport, and conversion; may help explain why levels are low even with adequate intake
  • Folate (B9) — variants in the folate cycle, including MTHFR, which influence how effectively your body converts folate into its active form
  • Vitamin D — SNPs affecting synthesis, binding, and metabolism; relevant even when blood levels appear sufficient
  • Vitamin A — variants in conversion from dietary beta-carotene; impacts skin, immunity, and eye health
  • Vitamin C — genetic differences in transport and utilisation; influences antioxidant status and collagen production
  • Vitamin K — variants affecting activation and metabolism; relevant to bone health and cardiovascular function
  • Zinc — SNPs influencing absorption and retention; impacts immunity, hormones, and skin
  • Detoxification & Inflammation Pathways — genetic traits that may affect how your body processes toxins and regulates inflammatory response
  • Hormonal & Metabolic Predispositions — variants influencing oestrogen metabolism, blood pressure regulation, and energy metabolism

Advanced Functional Testing

£200–£800  /  accessed through the Precision Nutrition programme

For those with complex, chronic, or multi-system health concerns, advanced functional testing goes beyond blood and DNA analysis to investigate specific biological pathways in detail. Tests are selected based on your individual symptoms, health history, and goals — nothing is standard.

What's Included:
  • Tests selected specifically for you — based on your symptoms, history, and what will give us the most clinically useful information
  • Sourced from specialist laboratories across the UK, Europe, and internationally
  • All results discussed in full during your Precision Nutrition programme sessions — in plain language, with clear guidance on what to do about them
  • All testing costs agreed with you before any tests are ordered — no surprises
  • Costs paid directly by you to the relevant laboratory

*Advanced functional testing is available through the Precision Nutrition (6-month) programme only. Tests and costs are discussed and agreed in your first session

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Please Note:

Bespoke testing packages can be created for you. Due to timescales for receiving results and complexity of biomarker analysis, these tests are only available with my Precision Nutrition package. Examples include: Organic Acid Testing, Gut Microbiome Analysis, DUTCH Hormone Analysis, Advanced Cardiovascular Testing, Food Intolerances (IgE, IgG, IgS), Fertility Testing including Sperm DNA Fragmentation Testing, and Reproductive Immunology NK Cell Count Testing. Contact me for further information.

A NT Power Hour can be added for additional support if additional time is requested to discuss test results

£40

Phlebotomy in Inverness clinic

Blood collection for pre-arranged private postal testing. Includes support with finger-prick blood tests and Tasso collection kits.

£80

Phlebotomy with Centrifugation — Inverness clinic

Blood draw with immediate sample processing (centrifugation). Required for biomarkers such as homocysteine, where serum separation is necessary to preserve sample stability.

Why centrifugation?

  • Certain blood biomarkers must be centrifuged to preserve and stabilise — e.g. homocysteine
  • Centrifugation reduces the risk of haemolysis or sample instability due to postal delays

Not sure where to start?

That’s completely fine — it’s one of the most common things people say to me. Book a free mini consultation and we’ll have a chat about what’s going on for you and which approach makes the most sense.

Inclusivity Statement

Supporting every body

As a Fertility Support Trained practitioner, I am committed to supporting every birthing body, and all permutations of the people it takes to make a family. To using the correct Pronouns for each person who walks through the door. To recognise the unique journey taken by same-sex couples and the complex and sometimes traumatic journey that fertility work can represent to Trans and Non-binary people. To treat known egg donors and surrogates without judgement. To acknowledge the unique challenges medical racism (or even just existing in a black or brown body) can pose to people of colour, and within this, to recognise our own privilege and be open to course correction without fragility. To embrace people in bigger bodies, differently-abled bodies and people of all religions. And finally, to accept without question the lived experience of all people who walk through our doors. We aim to treat people fairly and to recognise and respond to their individual needs, experiences and aspirations. Firmly believing that human diversity strengthens and enriches our society, a Fertility Support Trained practitioner strives to provide healthcare without discrimination and with open-hearted, skilled, support.
