Working with me
Your Personalised Nutrition Journey
Nutrition therapy is a collaborative process focused on you. Together, we explore your health history, lifestyle, and goals to craft a nutrition plan that fits your life and supports lasting change. I empower you with knowledge and practical tools to make informed food and lifestyle choices, helping you restore balance in your body and mind.
What Working With Me Actually Involves
Nutritional Therapy is a collaborative process — and it goes much deeper than handing you a meal plan. Before we even meet, I spend time reviewing your health questionnaire, medical history, and any existing test results. During our sessions, we work through what your results actually mean for you, in plain language, and build a plan that reflects your real life — your food preferences, your schedule, your goals.
Between sessions I’m researching, interpreting results, liaising with laboratories, and preparing your personalised documents and recommendations. When you invest in a programme with me, you’re not just paying for the time we spend together — you’re getting everything that happens behind the scenes too.
My Commitment to You
I work with a limited number of clients at any one time. That’s a deliberate choice — it means every person I work with gets my full attention, and I’m never stretched too thin to do the job properly. I take your health seriously, and I want the support I offer to be genuinely useful, not generic.
You’ll have access to exclusive discounts of typically 10–20% on functional tests and supplements throughout your programme, and email support between sessions so you’re never left waiting if something comes up. My goal is simple: to give you the understanding and tools to make real, lasting changes to your health.
After a very worrying medical diagnosis, I consulted Lucy for Nutrition support. She guided me through various detailed lab tests to help find out what was really happening in my body. Her personalised and empathetic approach blends the science with practical, real-life advice and her enthusiasm really motivated me.
Lucy was able to really dig down into what was actually going on and unlock a pathway to recovery through the science of nutrition. She is full of wonderful little gems of knowledge - life hacks that really work from simple recipes to lifestyle choices. I feel very fortunate to have come across Lucy and would recommend her Nutritional advice 100%.
How it works
What to Expect in Your First Appointment
Your first session is a one-hour consultation where we discuss your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. I’ll review any relevant lab results and explain how testing works if needed. We then start building your personalised nutrition plan.
Who Can Benefit From Nutrition Therapy?
Nutrition therapy is ideal for anyone who wants more than generic advice. If you’re looking for personalised nutrition support combined with accountability, motivation, and practical guidance, you’re in the right place. I often work with people who:

Difference Between 1:1 Nutrition Therapy and Precision Nutrition Therapy
1:1 Nutrition Therapy
(3 months, £800)
A structured, personalised programme that gives you a thorough understanding of your health and a clear, practical plan to improve it. Over five sessions across three months, we combine a comprehensive blood panel — including advanced cardiovascular markers such as Lipoprotein(a) — Nutritional DNA testing to reveal how your unique genetics influence your nutritional needs and health responses.
You’ll leave with a precise picture of where your health stands right now, what your genes suggest about your optimal nutrition, and a bespoke diet, lifestyle and supplement plan built around both. This is an excellent starting point for anyone who wants a meaningful health assessment, a science-based roadmap, or a structured programme to begin addressing symptoms. Blood panel and DNA test costs are paid separately by you — a 10% discount on the Medichecks Optimal Health Check panel is included.
Precision Nutrition Therapy
(6 months, £1,800)
For those with more complex, chronic, or multi-system health concerns — or anyone who wants the deepest possible understanding of their health and sustained support to transform it. During Precision Nutrition we layer advanced functional testing and DNA analysis, exploring the specific pathways and systems most relevant to your symptoms and history. This may include gut microbiome analysis, DUTCH hormone panels, or methylation and detoxification pathway testing, selected specifically for you.
Your plan evolves at every session as results come in, your body responds, and your understanding deepens. This is nutrition therapy at its most thorough and personalised — the programme for those who want to leave no stone unturned. The £1,800 programme fee covers eight regular NT sessions; advanced functional test costs are paid directly to the laboratory and discussed with you upfront.
Not sure which is right for you?
1:1 Nutrition Therapy is the natural starting point if you’re new to Nutritional Therapy or haven’t yet had blood or DNA testing. Precision Nutrition is better suited to those with complex or long-standing concerns, or those ready to commit to a deeper, longer programme. If you’re unsure, book a free mini consultation – we’ll work it out together.
Discounts for Clients
All clients on either programme receive exclusive discounts of typically 10-20% off on functional tests and supplements throughout their time working with me.
Please Note:
Cost of supplements and functional tests are paid separately. 1:1 programs must be completed within 16 weeks of purchase

Since hitting menopause I have been struggling with feeling bloated, weight gain, brain fog and generally quite sluggish. I approached Lucy as I knew she had a keen interest in women’s health and had taken additional training in managing menopause.
Lucy took time to listen to my list of issues and help me understand what was going on with my body and initially gave me simple solutions which made me feel better after just a few weeks. I now have less bloating and a clearer brain and am optimistic that continuing with Lucy will enable me to improve all my health goals.
Frequently Asked Questions
My programmes run over three or six months depending on which option you choose. Some clients with complex health needs work across more than one programme. For example, focusing on one area first and then building on that work in a subsequent programme. Every journey is individual, so if you’re unsure what’s right for you, a free mini consultation is the best place to start.
No. My focus is on helping you make informed, sustainable food choices that support your health and fit your life. No rigid rules, no one-size-fits-all diets, just practical, personalised guidance to help you feel your best.
Both programmes include access to comprehensive blood testing and Nutrient Core nutrigenomic DNA testing, these are paid directly by you and are not included in the programme fee. I’ll guide you through exactly which tests to order and why, and your results are discussed in full during your sessions.
The Precision Nutrition programme also gives you access to advanced functional testing, selected specifically for your symptoms and health history. This might include gut microbiome analysis, a DUTCH hormone panel, or methylation and detoxification pathway testing, among others. Again, all test costs are paid directly to the laboratory by you, there are no surprises, as we agree all testing together in your first session.
All clients receive exclusive discounts of typically 10–20% on tests and supplements throughout their programme.
This depends on your programme.
The 1:1 Nutrition Therapy programme includes six sessions across three months. An initial one-hour consultation, a 30-minute early check-in at week two, and four further 30-minute sessions timed around your results and progress.
The Precision Nutrition programme includes eight sessions across six months. An initial one-hour consultation, a 30-minute early check-in at week two, and six further 45-minute review and refinement sessions. All sessions are available in person in Inverness or online.
Yes, Nutritional Therapy works well alongside conventional medical care and can provide valuable additional support. I always work within my scope of practice, and if anything arises that requires medical attention I will always recommend you speak with your GP or specialist.
Yes, all sessions are available online via video call as well as in person at my clinic in Inverness. Many of my clients work with me entirely online, wherever they are in the world.
Plans are fully personalised to accommodate allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences
Please give me at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments without notice may be charged at the full session rate.
It varies from person to person. Some clients notice meaningful changes within a few weeks — particularly around energy, sleep, and digestion. For more complex or long-standing conditions, progress tends to build over months rather than weeks. Consistency with your plan is the single biggest factor. I’ll be monitoring your progress throughout and adjusting your plan as needed so we’re always moving in the right direction.
It’s a fair question and, for some people, that combination is exactly the right choice. If your health concerns are relatively straightforward and the testing in the 1:1 programme gives us what we need, an NT Follow-On makes complete sense.
Precision Nutrition is a different programme entirely, not simply a longer one. It draws on specialist laboratory testing from across the UK, Europe and internationally — investigating specific biological pathways in significantly more detail. Interpreting and integrating results across multiple complex tests takes considerably more time and expertise than standard blood and DNA analysis, and that’s reflected in the programme fee.
If you have complex, chronic, or multi-system health concerns, or your history suggests we need to look more deeply at specific pathways — hormonal, digestive, metabolic, or otherwise — Precision Nutrition is likely to give you answers a standard programme won’t.
